Privacy Policy
This page explains what MasteryLot keeps about you, why we keep it, and how you stay in control of it.
Last updated 26 September 2026
What we keep
When you create an account, we keep:
- Your account details: your email address and your name.
- Your profile photo, if you choose to add one.
- Your learning progress: your answers, scores, practice sessions, levels and daily goal.
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us. We never see your Google password.
How we learn what to improve
We also collect general information about how MasteryLot is used, like which pages are visited and which features people use most. This uses small files called cookies on your device. It helps us see what works and fix what doesn't. We look at it as a whole, not to watch what any one person does.
Why we keep it
- To save your progress, so you can pick up where you left off on any device.
- To show your scores, levels, daily goal and weekly streak.
- To choose the right practice questions for you.
- To keep your account safe.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information.
- We don't show you ads, and we don't use your information for advertising.
- We don't share your progress with other people.
Using MasteryLot without an account
If you practise without an account, your progress is saved only on your device, in your browser. If you then create an account, we move that progress into your new account so you don't lose it.
Your choices
- Change your details: update your name and photo, and change your password, in Profile → Settings.
- Delete everything: delete your account in Profile → Settings. This removes your account, your photo and all your progress for good.
- Ask us: email us if you'd like to know what we hold about you.
Keeping it safe
We protect your information and only let you see your own progress. No website can promise to be perfectly safe, so please use a strong password and keep it to yourself.
Children
If you're under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before you create an account. If you think a child has given us information without permission, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
